INFORMATION ON SOCCER UNIFORMS
The information on soccer uniforms below are provided to help you make more informed decisions when you are looking for soccer jerseys and shorts. Please use the charts below to assist you with finding your correct sizes.
A soccer uniform consists of a soccer jersey, short & socks. Most retailers give better discounts to teams that are purchasing entire soccer uniforms as opposed to buying the pieces individually.
In addition, you should think about including a less expensive "away soccer jersey" while you are getting a good discount from the retailer on the soccer uniforms.
If you have a young soccer team, between the ages of 5-11 years old, then be sure to check the brand's availability on their youth sizes.
Some manufacturers only make soccer jerseys & shorts as small as a Youth Large. Ask your retailer or sales representative about the kit your interested in.
3 SOCCER UNIFORMS TIPS
First, you want to know if your soccer uniform is "True to size" or if the brand usually fits larger or smaller than a normal t-shirt size. Special consideration should go to soccer jersey shoulder space, jersey length and short length.
Then ask about the Life span of the soccer uniforms that you are interested in. Check to see when the manufacturer will quit producing your soccer uniforms and how long the soccer retailer of your choice will stock those items.
Maintence is usually overlooked. You need to know if you get logos and numbers put on, are there any special washing/drying instructions required by the manufacturer so as not to void the warrantee.
